About The Ginger Garlic Kerala Cuisine Inc.

We are a leading restaurant company that specializes in South Indian cuisine. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Cook.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Staff Management: Recruit and hire staff, and organize buffets and banquets to meet customer demands.
  • Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
