Camacam Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk Position

The Township of Hornepayne is seeking an experienced Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk to lead our administrative and operational services. As a key advisor to Council, you will develop and implement operational plans, ensuring alignment with our Vision, Mission, Values, and Strategic Priorities.



This is a unique opportunity to work in a progressive rural municipality, offering a relaxed lifestyle with access to fresh air, wildlife, and outdoor recreation opportunities. You will be responsible for the efficient delivery of all administrative and operational services, recommending policies, plans, and programs that benefit residents.



In this role, you will lead a dedicated staff team, guiding and inspiring a motivated workforce to achieve service excellence, innovative thinking, and teamwork. You will also be responsible for performing statutory duties of a Municipal Clerk, Human Resources Management, CUPE contract administration, and coordinating Council meetings.



The ideal candidate will be an inspiring, principled, motivated, and collaborative leader with proven leadership and management experience in a small to medium-sized public or private sector organization. You will have exceptional communication skills, political acumen, and the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders, foster partnerships, engage employees, and ensure customer service excellence.
