Chief Operating Officer

Coast Mental Health seeks a seasoned leader to serve as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the COO will have strategic and operational responsibility for the organization's programs and services, Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM), and Quality Improvement and Properties areas.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the organization's strategic plan, working in collaboration with the senior management team and staff.
- Provide operational leadership to the senior management team and serve as a liaison to external stakeholders and partners.
- Work with the CEO and Board of Directors to ensure the Board and senior management team are aware and engaged in Coast's strategies, opportunities, and challenges.
- Develop, implement, and manage the operational aspects of Coast Mental Health, in partnership with the senior management team.
- Lead and implement Quality Improvement plans and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of staff training programs, in collaboration with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
- Ensure the continued financial viability of the organization's operational units through sound fiscal management.
- Assist in managing and cultivating existing relationships with funders to secure and expand recurring revenue streams and identify new prospects and projects.
- Represent the organization with the media and external constituency groups, building excitement for the organization's mission and vision.
- Proven track record of strategic planning and operational leadership.
- Experience in managing complex programs and services, including IT/IM and Quality Improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the senior management team and staff to achieve organizational goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
