Company Overview:


Russell-Cooke is a full-service law firm with a well-established reputation in the non-contentious Private Client area of law. Our team is expanding and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced solicitor to join us in our Bedford Row office.



About the Role:


We offer a competitive salary of £80,000-£110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as generous benefits and a stimulating work environment. The successful candidate will have excellent academic qualifications, preferably a 2:1 degree, and be ideally 3-4 PQE in the non-contentious Private Client area of law.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct a high-volume caseload under the supervision of a senior partner
  • Business development, including networking, article writing, and cross-departmental relationship building
  • Excellent financial management, including time recording and billing to meet annual targets
  • Participation in firm-wide cohort events and training programs


Client Relationships:



  • Provide a high-quality service to all Russell-Cooke clients
  • Maintain excellent client relationships skills, gaining clients' confidence and that of other professionals
  • Receive requests for advice from current and potential clients and decide on the most appropriate responses
  • Establish solutions to complex client problems


Personal Development:



  • Qualify into and maintain professional development in a professional body such as STEP
  • Support internal procedures and systems, including file and financial management
  • Participate in team meetings and training programs
  • Maintain high standards of professional conduct and generate adequate practice income


Requirements:



  • Degree-level qualification, preferably a 2:1 degree
  • Highly numerate and IT literate, with excellent working knowledge of Excel
  • Evidence of interest in and commitment to the success of the firm
  • Relevant experience within a professional services firm
  • Understanding of and commitment to Russell-Cooke's values and ethos
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure
