Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Mexican Corner Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Operations and Administration
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including food order summaries for the chef.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
- Education and Experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Qualities
- Client focus and excellent oral communication skills.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player.
