The Yacht Store Manager will be responsible for planning and organizing daily operations, ordering supplies and maintaining inventory, and opening and closing books for auditors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient and effective store management
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory to meet customer demands
  • Open and close books for auditors to ensure accurate financial records
  • Manage computer and technology systems, including point of sale systems and word processing software
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and improve customer engagement
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure budget compliance
  • Develop and implement processes to improve inventory management and reduce waste
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or inventory management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
Working Conditions:

The Yacht Store Manager will work in a retail environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
