Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Team Lead to join our adidas retail team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales, profitability, and operational goals by guiding hourly associates in day-to-day procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
  • Collaborate with management to shape the end-to-end consumer experience and drive a culture of consumer centricity within the store.
  • Enable and support a best-in-class environment within retail fleet by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Manage the end-to-end service experience of all consumer touchpoints and ensure seamless execution of store operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to hourly associates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to associates to drive improvement and growth.
  • Assist with staffing and labor cost control standards and ensure effective maintenance of same.
  • Perform sales, customer service, merchandising, and related store upkeep support duties to maintain needed staff coverage and lead by example.
  • Direct the performance of store upkeep duties and ensure a high level of adidas service is given to each customer.
  • Use selling techniques such as add-on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store and position sales goals.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements
  • Must possess and consistently exhibit the competencies relative to the position.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and a point of sale system.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays. Also able to work overtime hours during peak sales periods.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • College or University degree and 1 year of Retail experience, preferably in the Sporting Apparel & Footwear industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

The anticipated low and high end of the base pay range for this position is $18.00-$23.00 per hour. Actual hourly rate will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and competencies, and proficiency for the role.
