Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Billing and Customer Service Office Clerk to join our team at our Thompson Terminal location. This role plays a vital part in supporting all terminal operations by coordinating and completing various office duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, helpful, and positive demeanor
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of shipping documents
  • Perform general office tasks such as filing, reception, tracing, and customer service
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
  • Enter information about completed deliveries into our computer system
  • Scan documents for safekeeping in our imaging system
  • Generate reports on-time performance for key customers
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet the goals of the terminal
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Gardewine's safe work practices, policies, and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary education in a related field, with previous transportation experience considered an asset
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail, delivered in a positive and friendly customer service manner
  • Outstanding telephone and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in computerized data entry and Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Compensation Package

Our competitive salary range for this position is $45,000-$60,000 annually, based on relevant experience and qualifications. We also offer opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.
