Business Development Specialist

This position requires a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to drive mortgage volume and grow business in the residential mortgage market.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive mortgage volume through multiple channels, including in-person meetings, online webinars, seminars, events, email, phone calls, and social media.
- Identify both new and existing opportunities in the marketplace to grow them into trusted partners.
- Stay knowledgeable about the current industry landscape and competitors, and be innovative in sales strategies, marketing concepts, and product applications.
Requirements:
- A university degree and an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP).
- A valid driver's license.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in residential mortgage lending/mortgage broker network.
- Bilingual in English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
