Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with Dematic Canada's business goals and objectives.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer accounts, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance the team's performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with Dematic Canada's solutions and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting the sales strategy accordingly.
- Continuously improve the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Manage the sales budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, engineering, and project management, to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful project execution.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and insights.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of at least 7-10 years in B2B sales, with a strong background in complex solution selling, preferably in the supply chain and logistics industry.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role, managing and developing high-performance sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and support the sales team.
- Knowledge of automation, robotics, and material handling systems is a plus.
