Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Interpreting work orders and technical manuals to diagnose vehicle faults and malfunctions.
  • Performing repairs and maintenance tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Examining vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is needed.
  • Testing repaired vehicles to ensure completed work meets manufacturer specifications and legislated regulations.
  • Completing detailed written reports for the completion of work orders.

Requirements for this position include:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Senior Apprentice preferred (2nd Year or 3rd Year Preferred).
  • Fleet maintenance experience.
  • Tire-changing experience.
  • New rig-up / re-rig experience.
  • ADP experience considered an asset.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Energetic and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
