Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Interpreting work orders and technical manuals to diagnose vehicle faults and malfunctions.
- Performing repairs and maintenance tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Examining vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is needed.
- Testing repaired vehicles to ensure completed work meets manufacturer specifications and legislated regulations.
- Completing detailed written reports for the completion of work orders.
Requirements for this position include:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Senior Apprentice preferred (2nd Year or 3rd Year Preferred).
- Fleet maintenance experience.
- Tire-changing experience.
- New rig-up / re-rig experience.
- ADP experience considered an asset.
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
- Energetic and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
