About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic III to join our team in Edmonton, AB. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our fleet.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations;
  • Assisting with repairs and replacements of major components under the guidance of a lead technician or supervisor;
  • Using industry-leading tools and technology to diagnose and resolve complex issues;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer expectations;

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of practical experience in vehicle repair or truck maintenance;
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification is an asset;
  • Current enrollment in an apprentice program or relevant training;
  • A valid Class G or Class 5 driver's license with the ability to obtain a Class DZ within six months;
  • Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems;
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions and regularly lift up to 45kg;
