As a Journeymen Powerline Technician and Apprentice, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides crucial support to our projects. We are seeking self-motivated, team-oriented individuals who are willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Red Seal Journeymen Powerline Technician certification
  • Class 5 license minimum, preference given to 1 & 3 license
  • Experience in climbing wood pole structures
  • Experience/training in craning and rigging
  • 25kV Rubber Glove experience considered an asset
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Experience working on ATCO and Fortis utility systems
  • Working at Heights
  • Familiar with operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment
  • Experience in maintenance and construction of distribution lines, coupled with the ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Qualified switchman for ATCO and Fortis systems considered an asset
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours
  • Safety-oriented mindset
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
