Hotel Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Hearthstone Inn Dartmouth.
Job Summary:The Hotel Front Desk Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and maintaining accurate records of guest information.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Room Reservations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
- Front Desk Operations: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and follow emergency and safety procedures.
- Clerical Duties: Perform clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, and answer telephone calls and relay messages.
- Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, exchange foreign currency, and process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
