Job Title: Hotel Front Desk Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Hearthstone Inn Dartmouth.

Job Summary:

The Hotel Front Desk Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and maintaining accurate records of guest information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Room Reservations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
  • Front Desk Operations: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and follow emergency and safety procedures.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, and answer telephone calls and relay messages.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, assist clients/guests with special needs, and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
