Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Human Resources Leader to join our team at Canavua. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the HR department and ensuring that they meet the organization's goals.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and teamwork abilities. They will also have accountability for their work and be able to respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign projects to subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations and employee relations
  • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals
  • Direct and control daily operations
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  • Manage training and development strategies
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Recruit and hire staff

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $50,000 and $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Other benefits include a 30-hour workweek and the opportunity to work for a dynamic and growing company like Canavua.
