Are you looking to launch a career in business and sales? EMCO Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our Sales Development Program as a Sales Development Trainee.

The Sales Development Program is a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in sales and business development. As a Sales Development Trainee, you will progress through a 5-phased program, learning every aspect of our business, from shipping and receiving to sales, operations, purchasing, account management, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Logistics: Learn the products we sell, how they get from the vendor to the customer, and understand all levels of sales support.
  • Counter Sales: Get involved in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory, and pricing controls.
  • Inside Sales: Gain the skills and knowledge to process orders for our customers from start to finish.
  • Outside Sales/Account Management: Learn how to find new business opportunities, sell our products, negotiate contracts, and build customer and vendor relationships.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Education preferred
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
  • Work well in a team-based environment with minimal supervision
  • Sales background preferred
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver's License with clean abstract
