Position Overview

As an Infrastructure Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our operational landscape as part of a dedicated team of Technology Specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the current operational environment, ensuring stability and reliability through the execution of established maintenance strategies.
  • Technology Support: Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of assigned technologies.
  • Data Solutions: Support the development and upkeep of data warehouses, databases, and various data storage solutions.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with multiple vendors to ensure the cost-effective construction of new technologies, meeting all commitments and deadlines.
  • Project Management: Work on several projects concurrently, ensuring that the implemented infrastructure technologies align with existing standards and future objectives.
  • Collaboration: Engage regularly with project management teams, third-line infrastructure specialists, Information Security experts, and service desk personnel.
  • Incident Management: Communicate issues promptly and propose effective solutions regarding third-level technology incidents, including research, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Performance Monitoring: Identify and escalate performance issues, providing recommendations to ensure compliance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Resource Estimation: Assist in estimating time and resources for various projects.
  • Infrastructure Assessment: Aid in managing a complex multi-vendor technology infrastructure environment.
  • Project Planning: Contribute to the development of project plans as necessary.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in an on-call support rotation to address the 24/7 availability demands of the infrastructure.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Active Directory Administration.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade storage, data archiving, and backup solutions.
  • Familiarity with SQL management and configurations, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2012/2016/2019) and Virtual Server Technologies (VMware).
  • Experience with Microsoft Systems Center and Remote Desktop Services.
  • Proficient in Powershell, scripting, and automation.
  • Solid understanding of Windows Networking Services (DNS, DHCP, DFSR).
  • Strong infrastructure design, planning, and documentation skills.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent qualifications).
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience in implementing and managing Microsoft technologies within a complex, multi-platform environment.
  • Experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
  • A proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Work Environment

This position operates in a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility while also requiring regular in-office collaboration to foster effective relationships and innovation.
