This is a job opportunity at Avanti Software Inc. for a Network Analyst position reporting to the Director of Information Technology. The role involves maintaining and providing technical support for computer, communication, network, and telephone systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management:
  • Maintain and update various software systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Provide support for Microsoft technologies and radio/dispatch systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Perform troubleshooting and configuration tasks, utilizing advanced technical skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Manage hardware and software inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient resource allocation.
  • Coordinate training and assist with user access security, promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness.
  • Administrative and Strategic:
  • Process paperwork, purchase orders, and billing, ensuring timely and accurate financial management.
  • Develop IT policies and procedures, aligning with industry best practices and company standards.
  • Participate in annual budget preparation, providing technical insights and recommendations.
  • Education and Skills:
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Sciences or equivalent, with a strong foundation in networking and IT principles.
  • Experience with government organizations and relevant technologies, demonstrating adaptability and technical expertise.
  • Knowledge of Dispatching Systems and Microsoft technologies, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to configure computer hardware and troubleshoot issues, showcasing technical prowess and problem-solving skills.
