About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Client Director to join our team at TechInsights. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities within government accounts, while also managing sales quotas.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Government Account Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within government accounts, leveraging your expertise and relationships to drive growth and revenue.
  2. Strategic Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong executive relationships with government officials and decision-makers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the industry.
  3. Account Management: Implement effective account management strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, drive retention, and foster account growth within the government sector.
  4. Sales Quotas: Take ownership of sales quotas assigned to specific government accounts, ensuring alignment with the unique needs and priorities of each branch or agency.
  5. Product Expertise: Demonstrate mastery in applying TechInsights' sales methodology, products, and services to address the specific requirements and regulations governing government procurement.
  6. Forecasting and Analysis: Ensure accuracy in forecasting sales on a regular basis, considering the complexities of government procurement cycles and budgetary constraints.
  7. Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on legislative changes, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies relevant to the government sector to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Over 15 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably within the government sector, with a track record of successful sales outcomes.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree / MBA preferred.
  3. Skills: Proven ability to engage and manage relationships with government officials, including C-level executives and senior decision-makers across different branches and agencies.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Proficiency in navigating the intricacies of government procurement processes and compliance standards, particularly within the US government.
  5. Intellect and Drive: Demonstrated intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen, with a keen understanding of the political landscape and bureaucratic dynamics.
  6. Client Relationships: Track record of building and nurturing client relationships within the government sector by providing strategic insights and tailored solutions.
  7. Technology Skills: Strong proficiency in using technology tools for sales management and reporting, along with excellent presentation skills.
  8. Sales Process: Familiarity with the entire sales process lifecycle, including contract negotiations and post-sales support within government contracts.
