**About the Role**

As a Power Systems Engineer - Renewable Energy with Stantec Consulting International Ltd., you will play a key role in conducting comprehensive power system modeling and analysis studies. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct a wide range of power systems modeling and analysis, including power flow, short circuit, transient stability, and insulation coordination studies.

**Responsibilities**

  • Conduct detailed power system modeling and analysis using industry-standard software such as PSS/E, PSLF, ETAP, ASPEN, EMTP-RV, DIgSILENT, PSCAD.
  • Prepare high-quality study reports that document the study scope, inputs, assumptions, findings, and recommendations.
  • Participate in meetings with clients to discuss project progress, present results, and provide recommendations.
  • Manage project timelines, scopes, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop technical proposals for new projects.

**Requirements**

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Ph.D. preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in power systems/power electronics, inverter-based renewable generation.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical power system theory and power electronics.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience with industry-standard software such as PSS/E, PSLF, ETAP, ASPEN, EMTP-RV, DIgSILENT, PSCAD.
