Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Engineer 3rd Class to join our team at Deer Lodge Centre. As a key member of our Facility Management department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the power plant, ensuring efficient and safe delivery of heat, steam, hot water, oxygen, compressed air, vacuum, air conditioning, ventilation, emergency electrical power, and fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain high-pressure steam plants, chillers, refrigeration systems, water treatment, diesel generators, pumps, fans, heating, and other building systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and testing of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of operation, tests, and maintenance activities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A valid 3rd Class Power Engineers License for the Province of Manitoba.
  • Experience in building operation and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of building and equipment blueprint reading.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
