About the Role:

The Ecommerce Platform Specialist will be responsible for creating, improving, maintaining, and migrating ecommerce stores. This individual will assist on multiple projects addressing B2B, B2C, and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain administrative support for existing ecommerce client stores and distribute tickets in a help desk system.
  2. Construct customer catalogs and products to enhance online shopping experiences.
  3. Upload and program high-quality product images for online representations.
  4. Create and manage customer user logins and password allotments.
  5. Verify and resolve any issues that may arise during ecommerce operations.
  6. Maintain and upload employee weekly SFTP files.
  7. Plan and coordinate platform mergers to streamline ecommerce processes.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require a diploma in a field related to electronic commerce, web site content development, or internet services. A minimum of 1 year of experience in ecommerce, web design, interactive media development, data administration, or information systems analysis is also necessary.

  • Verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Effective time management skills.

  • Stress tolerance and self-control in difficult situations.
  • Advanced computer knowledge, including MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and SQL database administration.

This position requires an estimated salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
