About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Senior Specialist to join our Digital Marketing & eCommerce team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our retail media strategy, managing the Mattel Shop product catalogue, curating compelling content, and overseeing CRM efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Marketing teams to create retail media strategies aligned with global best practices and local insights.
  • Partner with external agencies to execute media campaigns, optimizing performance and budgets.
  • Manage the product catalogue and content for the Mattel Shop, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain a year-long CRM calendar to engage customers across Mattel's brands.
  • Identify eCommerce opportunities to position Mattel as a leader with retail partners and drive online sales.
  • Plan and execute social media activations to support retailer promotions.
  • Coordinate with US and global teams to align Canadian strategies with global goals.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, Direct To Consumer (DTC), or digital marketing.
  • Proven expertise in digital or retail marketing, with a deep understanding of the consumer journey.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills; able to manage multiple priorities and turn data into insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • A quick learner with a sharp eye for detail and a creative, problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in CPG, toys, or consumer-facing industries (asset).
  • Familiarity with SEM/PPC, CRM tools, and retail media platforms (asset).
  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
