Senior Associate, Content

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Digital Marketing & eCommerce team at Mattel Canada. This role offers the opportunity to shape the online shopping experience for some of the world's best-loved brands.

The Opportunity:

  • You will work closely with internal teams and external agencies to lead our retail media strategy, manage the Mattel Shop product catalogue, curate compelling content, and oversee CRM efforts.
  • This fast-paced role plays a key part in driving sales and elevating the consumer journey for Mattel's iconic brands.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Marketing teams to create retail media strategies aligned with global best practices and local insights.
  • Partnering with external agencies to execute media campaigns, optimizing performance and budgets.
  • Managing the product catalogue and content for the Mattel Shop, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Developing and maintaining a year-long CRM calendar to engage customers across Mattel's brands.
  • Identifying eCommerce opportunities to position Mattel as a leader with retail partners and drive online sales.
  • Planning and executing social media activations to support retailer promotions.

About You:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, Direct To Consumer (DTC), or digital marketing.
  • You possess proven expertise in digital or retail marketing, with a deep understanding of the consumer journey.
  • You have strong project management and analytical skills, able to manage multiple priorities and turn data into insights.
  • You are a quick learner with a sharp eye for detail and a creative, problem-solving mindset.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in CPG, toys, or consumer-facing industries is an asset.
  • Familiarity with SEM/PPC, CRM tools, and retail media platforms is also an asset.

About Us:

Mattel is a leading global toy and family entertainment company and owner of one of the most iconic brand portfolios in the world. We engage consumers and fans through our franchise brands, including Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, American Girl, Thomas & Friends, UNO, Masters of the Universe, Matchbox, Monster High, MEGA, and Polly Pocket.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
