Job Description:

The Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation seeks an Executive Advocate to play a vital role in advancing justice services for Northern Aboriginal communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and the Chiefs of Nishnawbe-Aski Nation to advocate for justice services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address the unique needs of NAN people and communities in accessing justice services.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of the issues facing NAN communities and the ability to develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and collaboration with stakeholders.
Compensation:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Working Conditions:
