Director of Justice and Community Relations

Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation is seeking an Executive Director to oversee the operations of the organization, supporting the Board of Directors in achieving its Vision and Mandate.
About the Role:The Executive Director will be responsible for managing human and financial resources, negotiating program funding, and advocating for justice services for Nishnawbe-Aski Nation communities.
Responsibilities:- Oversight of corporate operations, including human resource management and financial planning
- Negotiation of program funding and partnerships with stakeholders
- Advocacy for justice services for Nishnawbe-Aski Nation communities
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in law, business administration, finance, or related field
- Experience in the Ontario legal system and familiarity with indigenous justice systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Bilingualism (Ojibway/Oji-Cree/Cree) an asset
- Competitive salary: $125,077 annually
- Full-time position (35 hours/week)
