Service Manager

Le Groupe JLD-Laguë, a leading John Deere dealership, is seeking a skilled Service Manager to join our team. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our after-sales department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the after-sales department to achieve annual business plan goals and maximize profitability.
  • Supervise a team of technicians and ensure they are trained and equipped to provide high-quality service.
  • Measure and analyze performance and productivity standards for workshop and road technicians.
  • Maintain high-quality after-sales services for internal and external clients.
  • Draft an annual business plan to increase sales volume for the service department.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Visit clients regularly to maintain good business relationships and stay up-to-date with their needs.
  • Ensure all department tools and equipment are available and maintained in good working condition.
Requirements:
  • College or university degree or diploma in a field related to mechanics or parts.
  • Three years' experience in a supervisory and personnel management position in an after-sales services department.
  • Mechanical aptitude and passion for agriculture, business, or the industrial field.
  • Bilingual (French and English) for some stores.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, planning, and leadership skills.
