As a Senior Director of Corporate Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals Ratings at Fitch Ratings, you will play a crucial role in evaluating corporate debt issuers and contributing to the company's reputation for timely and insightful research that informs debt capital market decisions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive corporate credit experience, with strong capabilities in financial analysis and modeling. A comprehensive understanding of fixed income/debt capital markets, with varied experience in both investment grade and leveraged finance, is also highly valued.

In this role, you will cover a portfolio of 20-30 healthcare and pharmaceutical debt issuers across investment-grade and speculative-grade ratings. You will articulate Fitch's credit views and sector outlook in meetings, conference calls, and industry roundtables, as well as in written research, in an engaging and dynamic manner.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $250,000 and $350,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

You will be a highly visible presence for external stakeholders in the ratings process, including industry management teams, private equity sponsors, buy-side and sell-side analysts, and the media. You will foster a positive and collaborative work environment in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals team and contribute to the overall ethos of the Canada Corporates rating team.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA, other advanced degrees, or a CFA designation being a plus. Some travel is necessary, as is adherence to Fitch's Onsite Flex time in office policy.
