Job Description

The Manufacturing Process Specialist is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of solid oral dosage forms at Pharmascience. This involves transforming raw materials into finished products according to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment and rooms for weighing ingredients and manufacturing in accordance with current procedures.
  • Perform all manufacturing operations, including weighing, mixing, granulation, drying, compression, encapsulation, and embedding.
  • Ensure accurate weighing and SAP transaction recording.
  • Conduct in-process testing for weight, hardness, thickness, disintegration, and LOD.
  • Complete production records, document yields, and justify rejected quantities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in creating and updating work instructions.
  • Foster a culture of safety, GMP compliance, and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Excellent mechanical skills and ability to lift 50 kg objects.
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in SAP transactions.
Working Conditions
  • May require lifting barrels of raw material (50 kg) and moving equipment.
Salary Information

Estimated salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
