At Appoint Staffing, we're looking for a skilled Recruitment Specialist to lead our recruitment team and deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Job Overview

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated leader who can manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to placement, and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake meetings with clients to determine their recruitment needs and develop effective strategies to meet them.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job posting, applicant screening, interviewing, and placement.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to ensure a steady supply of qualified candidates.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and client relations staff to understand their requirements and provide personalized service.
  • Assist in evaluating top candidates based on established criteria and make recommendations for placement.
  • Conduct background checks, reference checks, and other necessary verifications to ensure candidate suitability.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a recruiter or in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and resume databases.
  • Familiarity with ZOHO RECRUIT is an asset.
  • Microsoft Office skills are essential.
  • A degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is required.

Please note that this is a part-time to hire position, working Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will be able to commute to Etobicoke, ON M9R 2Y1 or plan to relocate before starting work.
