About the Role:

We are currently in the process of pooling candidates for the Senior Recruitment Associate role in our Project & Interim division.


The Senior Recruitment Associate, Project & Interim, is a key member of the Project & Interim team working closely with Engagement Managers on interim finance and accounting talent recruitment mandates for specialized consulting and growth projects.


This role is pivotal in finding and engaging top passive and active talent through proactive outreach, leveraging multiple strategies. Once engaged, the Senior Recruitment Associate will develop a market map and engagement strategy to find, attract, and evaluate talent. The Senior Recruitment Associate will conduct candidate interviews (screening/technical interviews), assess qualifications and interest, build candidate profiles, and play an integral role in shortlisting and presenting candidates to clients.


What You’ll Do:

  • Apply exceptional relationship-building skills to proactively develop a top-tier candidate “kiosk” (bench of talent) through high levels of outreach, sourcing, referrals, candidate screening/technical interviews, follow-ups, and networking to nurture relationships with the best talent
  • Work closely with the Engagement Managers and clients to understand the client’s hiring needs, including company culture, values, and specific requirements for the role
  • Provide insights to clients based on your in-depth understanding of competency and market trends for senior finance candidates in high-growth companies
  • Leverage your in-depth understanding of hard and soft-skill requirements for senior roles to assess the alignment of candidates’ technical skills, fit, and experience against the job requirements
  • Utilize various data sources and systems to source, cultivate, consolidate, and nurture a highly qualified candidate pool
  • Develop and execute customized search strategies for each role, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and assessing senior finance candidates
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of candidate interactions and other recruitment related information
  • You will gain client-facing business partnering experience through supporting job intakes, calibration meetings, and shortlist presentations and advising clients on talent market trends
  • Always act with your candidates’ best interest in mind and be a partner to them throughout their career journey, using your empathetic people skills along with the data, tools, and insights Clarity provides
  • Promote Clarity’s brand, value proposition, and service offerings when appropriate with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Today's candidates are tomorrow's clients if treated right and the relationship nurtured


What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of an undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Economics
  • 3-5 years of experience within agency recruitment (360 or 180), ideally involving the placement of Contract or Interim roles in the Accounting and Finance sector OR 5+ years CPA background with some recruitment exposure.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with comfort writing and speaking to a senior-level audience
  • A goal-achiever, you excel at time management to meet weekly metrics and submission deadlines
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of senior-level roles and responsibilities, including market trends and competitive landscape
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • You always bring your A-game and positive attitude, motivation, persistence, and a competitive edge to complement a top-performing team
  • Comfortable Working with presentation slides, docs, and spreadsheets (MS Office)


3-MONTHS into your role:

  • You will have a good handle on how to find, contact and screen potential candidates.
  • You will strive to understand candidate aptitudes, motivators, behaviors and goals through comprehensive interviewing techniques
  • You can show in-depth understanding of role requirements and an ability to find the right people through your extensive headhunting efforts.
  • You will have a solid grasp of the Clarity brand and be able to explain to candidates why Clarity should be their recruitment partner of choice.
  • You will begin to fully own shortlists submitted to clients, managing candidates throughout the deal cycle.


9-MONTHS into your role:

  • You will have cultivated a robust and evolving candidate pipeline that includes candidates for current live roles and a pipeline for future roles.
  • You can demonstrate expert knowledge of using different sourcing techniques including Boolean search, Xray, and various search architectures, etc.
  • You have fostered trust and partnerships with your internal stakeholders (engagement managers, peers, and leadership)
  • You can effectively identify and mitigate any candidate risk throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • You begin to understand market trends and can adjust your pipeline activity in response to fluid market demands.
  • You have expanded your foundational industry Accounting, Finance, and Data Analytics knowledge and are able to demonstrate expertise to candidates, clients, and peers.
