Recruitment Department Lead

We are actively seeking a skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team of professionals at Appoint Staffing, a start-up staffing agency with immense potential. This role is perfect for individuals who are self-motivated, enjoy recruiting, and have the ability to lead things in the right direction.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct intake meetings with clients to determine applicant skills and qualification standards as needed.
- Manage the entire recruiting cycle for clients' needs, which includes job description creation, publishing of job ads on various platforms, targeted recruitment, interviewing, and candidate screening.
- Keep clients informed about the hiring progress.
- Assist clients or client relations managers at every stage of contract worker hiring.
- Maintain a talent pipeline to meet present and future dedicated client demands.
- Effectively manage time and set priorities as orders are received from clients.
- Evaluate top personnel in light of established positions.
- Conduct tests and train workers on guidelines provided by specific clients.
- Conduct background checks, reference checks, and maintain all documents related to contractors.
- Support hiring managers and client relation managers in gathering contractor time and approving timesheets.
- Recruit graduates from colleges, universities, and other educational institutions when required.
- Examine the database for registered candidates available for work, schedule interviews if necessary, and place personnel accordingly.
- Follow up with candidates regarding the selection process, its outcomes, and make employment offers.
- A proven employment history as a staffing agency recruiter or in a similar position.
- Experience managing the overall hiring and placement cycle.
- Proficiency in conducting interviews in various formats, including group interviews, in-person interviews, and initial phone screening interviews.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and resume databases.
- Experience working with ZOHO RECRUIT is an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong time-management, setting priorities, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build a network from scratch using different strategies.
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
- Permission to work in Canada.
- A graduate or diploma holder in Human Resources Management or a relevant field.
