Key Responsibilities
  • Own and implement the Canadian strategic plan to drive outpaced share gains and profit improvements.
  • Manage and develop direct report(s) focused on creating and implementing channel/segment-specific growth strategies for MBC's Canadian portfolio of brands.
  • Analyze and identify target markets and build an overall channel opportunity model by segment, growth, and trends.
  • Develop product and channel strategies by channel & segment, focusing on GTM vision, product, and customers.

This role requires strong business acumen, analytical and strategic thinking skills, as well as the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. You will also need to manage multiple projects, travel up to 50% of your time, and work independently from your home office to fulfill assigned tasks and meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in the building products industry with a product, marketing, and/or sales background.
  • Possess intimate knowledge of industry products, services, distribution, customers & competitors.
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods and use computer equipment such as computers, keyboards, mice, phones, and other peripherals.

The ideal candidate will have strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to deliver results and perform other duties as assigned at management's discretion. They should be comfortable with change, detail-oriented, and thorough in their work. This position also offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
