We seek a skilled and passionate Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our collaborative team, working closely with school-age children and their families in our School-Based Rehabilitation Program.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and to contribute to a culture of performance recognition and appreciation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care to children with rehabilitation needs, working collaboratively with families, schools, and local healthcare systems.
  • Provide patient care both virtually and in-person, facilitating relationships and ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Develop and implement short-term consultation, training, and intervention strategies to address specific rehabilitation needs.
  • Assess and treat pediatric clients with various needs, including speech sound delays, motor speech challenges, stuttering, and voice disorders.
  • Supervise Communication Disorders Assistants as clinically appropriate, promoting a high level of care and collaboration.

Requirements for Success:

  • A highly energetic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working in a dynamic environment.
  • A thorough understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and policies applicable to practice.
  • Knowledge of principles of reflective practice and a systematic approach to decision-making.
  • A commitment to lifelong learning and a focus on safety and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • A valid G2/G driving license and access to a reliable insured vehicle.
  • Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
