We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Closing the Gap Healthcare. As a dedicated professional, you will be responsible for delivering care to children with rehabilitation needs in our School-based Rehabilitation Program.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist who thrives in a dynamic environment, facilitating relationships between families, schools, and local healthcare systems. You will work collaboratively to provide patient care both virtually and with in-person visits.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering care to children with rehabilitation needs
  • Working in a dynamic environment, facilitating relationships between families, schools, and local healthcare systems
  • Providing services involving short-term consultation, training, and intervention for specific rehabilitation needs
  • Assessing and treating pediatric clients with various needs
  • Thriving on being a self-starter and working well under minimal supervision

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A thorough understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and policies applicable to practice
  • An ability to use a systematic approach to decision-making during the development, implementation, and evaluation of clients
  • Safety-focused and accountable practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
