We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Childventures Early Learning Academy Inc.

Job Summary:

The ECE Assistant will work under the supervision of early childhood educators to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining daycare equipment, assisting with programs that promote children's development, and engaging children in activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting
  • Criminal record check and tuberculosis test
Work Environment:

The ECE Assistant will work in a fast-paced childcare environment with a team of dedicated educators. The successful candidate will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
