Job Title: ECE Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Childventures Early Learning Academy Inc. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities of our early childhood educators and ensuring the well-being of our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including cleaning and organizing the play area, and preparing snacks and meals.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, and submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check and tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain punctuality and dependability.
