Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Childventures Early Learning Academy Inc. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including cleaning and organizing the play area, and preparing snacks and meals.
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as reading, singing, and crafts.
  • Support children in developing good habits, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and successful day.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting
  • Criminal record check and tuberculosis test
