Job Summary
Trinity Western University is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a tenure-track faculty position in Physical Geography. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching and research in the Department of Geography and Environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Physical Geography, including Geomorphology, Geology, Soils, Climatology, and Environmental Chemistry.
- Develop and teach courses in fields such as hydrology, biogeography, and agroecology.
- Conduct research in Physical Geography and publish scholarly articles.
- Contribute to the development of the Department of Geography and Environment.
Requirements
- PhD in Physical Geography or a related field.
- Experience in teaching and research in Physical Geography.
- Ability to teach from a multidisciplinary perspective.
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is preferred.
