Role Overview
This is a hybrid role requiring three days of office presence per week, with the first three months of onboarding spent fully in the office. Our Vancouver office is located at 210 W Broadway, with standard office hours from 9 am to 5 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- We need someone to develop and manage Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the team, ensuring alignment with our company goals.
- The ideal candidate will create and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- They should stay up-to-date with current events and trends in programmatic advertising to guide the team's direction.
- Process Creation and Optimization:
- Develop and refine team processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement new project management tools and streamline workflows to boost productivity.
- Team Development:
- Develop comprehensive development plans for each team member and enable them to grow professionally.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Lead the Campaigns and Data & Reporting teams.
- Campaign Management:
- Oversee efficient marketing campaign development and execution.
- Analyze campaign data to refine strategies for key clients (1-2 clients).
- Ensure timely completion of campaigns within budget.
- Optimization and Growth:
- Lead optimization strategies on top accounts, identifying growth opportunities.
- Effectively scale revenue for ROAS-focused clients.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide comprehensive optimization reports and insights to surpass set goals.
- Monitor daily KPIs to gauge initiative success.
- Conduct in-depth analytical dives into data and suggest A/B tests.
- Audit budget pacing and offer reallocation recommendations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in paid media management, either in an agency or in-house marketing role.
- At least 4 years of people leadership experience, with prior experience leading leaders being essential.
- Proven expertise in digital media planning & buying.
- Certification in DV360, CM360, SA360, Google Analytics, Google Ads & Meta.
- Hands-on experience with Search Ads (Google, Microsoft Bing, Yahoo) & DV360.
- Setup knowledge on Meta Business Manager, CM360, and familiarity with other demand-side platforms.
- Familiarity with media & research tools like ComScore, Emarketer, etc.
- Proficiency in Google Tag Manager to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, dashboards, macros, etc.
- In-depth understanding of the ad tech landscape.
- Ability to work under pressure on various business verticals.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail is necessary.
