Position Overview:

The Director of Finance plays a crucial role in Taurus's leadership team, responsible for driving financial strategy, compliance, and corporate development initiatives.

  • Capital Strategy & Financing: Collaborate with the CEO to structure and secure debt and equity financing, optimizing the company's capital strategy.
  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Lead corporate financial modeling, including annual budgets, forecasts, and scenario analysis, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Accounting & Compliance: Oversee financial systems and processes to ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards across jurisdictions.
  • Corporate Development: Support M&A activities, including due diligence and integration planning.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Deliver accurate, timely financial reports with in-depth variance analysis and recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting, cash flow, and foreign currency management.
  • Tax & Risk Management: Ensure efficient tax structures, compliance with corporate and sales tax filings, and manage insurance procurement aligned with risk management objectives.

Taurus RNG offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits, to support the successful candidate in this senior leadership role.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting and Financial Leadership
  • CPA designation
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, debt financing, and M&A
  • Demonstrated ability to lead financial strategy and collaborate cross-functionally at a senior level
  • Experience with corporate forecasting, budgeting, and internal control development
