The Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Mobility and Accessibility Sales Consultant to join our team in York. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of client relationships during the purchase process of life-changing equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers, mobility scooters, stairlifts, ceiling lifts, and bathroom and bedroom safety items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide solutions to clients by working directly with therapists to select custom mobility devices that meet their needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with therapists, caregivers, manufacturers, and other healthcare facilities in the community.
  • Travel to long-term care facilities, retirement homes, hospitals, schools, and residences of clients with needs in the community to demonstrate products and services.

Requirements:

  • Experience in selling, maintaining, or fitting in the mobility and accessibility industry, or a background in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Long Term Care, or another healthcare area.
  • Sales drive and problem-solving skills, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions to troubleshoot concerns and meet the needs of clients.
  • Technical skills, including experience with a Customer Relationship database (CRM) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to relate to people and build trust easily.
  • A valid G-class driver's license and a clean driving record, as well as a clean criminal background check and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
