About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Foot Health Specialist to join our team at Medicentres. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary

This is a full-time opportunity with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week and up to 35 hours per week depending on business needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat various foot conditions using natural methods such as acupuncture, acupressure, and spinal manipulation.
  • Perform surgical procedures on the bones of the forefoot and subcutaneous soft tissues of the foot as required.
  • Treat patients using braces, casts, shields, orthotic devices, physical therapy, or prescribed medications.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Licensure in chiropody by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Working Conditions

As a Foot Health Specialist, you will be working in a clinic setting with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day. You will be expected to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
