Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste.
- Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment training programs for our culinary staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Provide guidance and instruction to cooks on food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, weddings, and corporate functions.
- Supervise and mentor our kitchen staff to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Plan and execute menus that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Recruit, train, and develop our culinary staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- 3+ years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Proven track record of success in leading kitchen teams and driving culinary excellence.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire our culinary staff.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
