The Opportunity:
We have positions available for technical field staff to support the Remediation Verification program following the removal of Low Level Radioactive Waste. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team and contribute your skills to a significant volume of work supporting Canadian Nuclear Laboratories at the Port Hope Area Initiative.

As an Environmental Remediation Specialist, you can expect to use your training to review past information, assess gaps, and develop sampling plans. You will also monitor excavations, scan and sample completed excavations and characterize soils, scan interiors, collect samples, check and maintain equipment, assist in resolving issues, input data, conduct quality reviews, and report on findings.
This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to manage relationships with internal and external teams and clients. You will need to provide guidance and expertise to ensure their needs are understood and met.

What You'll Bring to WSP Canada:
- College or University education or experience in soil or groundwater assessment or remediation
- Preferably a year or two of experience conducting field work, preferably soil or groundwater sampling or radiation protection
