We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at VG Infotech Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they align with company policies and procedures.
  • Delegate work to office support staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Establish work priorities to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including administering policies and procedures related to the release of records.
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures to ensure smooth operation of the office.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Organized and able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to support newcomers and refugees, including assisting with immediate settlement needs and supporting social and labour market integration.
  • Ability to offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.
  • Ability to offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth and Indigenous workers.
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
