About the Role:

  • As Director of Operations, Child and Youth Services, you will provide strategic leadership and support to multiple Early Years and School Age Child Care programs and staff.
  • You will be responsible for operational leadership, financial acumen, cultivating excellence, quality assurance, and community connection.
  • Key responsibilities include leading and motivating multiple staff teams, developing partnerships with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with legislation and licensing requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for this role.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in multidiscipline management, preferably in a related field.
  • A post-secondary degree or equivalent University Degree in a related discipline or combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multiple staff teams in satellite locations.
  • Good judgement and sound decision making in resolving complex issues.
  • Proven experience with stakeholder and partner engagement.
  • Well-versed in child development and child care programming and leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with diverse families, staff, volunteers, community stakeholders, and partners.
