About the Position: We are seeking an experienced Strategic Leader to oversee our Child and Youth Services department. This role requires a strong leader who can develop and implement strategic plans, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive growth and excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic guidance to ensure efficient operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to deliver high-quality child care services.
  • Financial Acumen: Assist in planning and managing the annual operating budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
  • Cultivating Excellence: Empower staff to embody excellence, provide coaching and support, and foster a collaborative work culture that drives professional development and growth opportunities.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and licensing requirements, and guarantee the delivery of high-quality programs and services that meet provincial, federal, and YMCA standards.
  • Community Connection: Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholder groups to support YMCA Child Care growth, enhance the YMCA's reputation, and navigate challenges in cultivating and maintaining relationships.

Qualifications and Experience: 10+ years of multidiscipline management experience, post-secondary degree or equivalent, demonstrated ability to lead multiple staff teams, good judgment, and sound decision-making skills.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 per year
