Child Care Operations Director

About This Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations, Child and Youth Services to provide strategic leadership and support to multiple Early Years and School Age Child Care programs and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership and direction to child care programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet provincial, federal, and YMCA standards.
- Assist in the planning and administration of the branch's annual operating budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholder groups to support YMCA Child Care growth opportunities.
- Lead and motivate multiple staff teams in satellite locations, empowering them to embody excellence and a deep dedication to children's well-being.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and licensing requirements, and implement process improvements to enhance program effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of multidiscipline management experience, with a strong background in child care programming and leadership.
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent in a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good judgment and sound decision-making skills, with experience in resolving complex issues.
